Vice President, Corporate Law
David has served as our Vice President of Corporate Law since October 2018. David joined Alector from technology company Roku, Inc., where he served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel from March 2014 to October 2018. Prior to Roku, David served as Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel from January 2009 to October 2013 and Director of Legal Affairs from November 2006 to January 2009 at semiconductor company Volterra Semiconductor Corporation. David worked as an Associate at the law firm of Cooley LLP from November 1999 to November 2006. David holds a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, M.B.A. from Santa Clara University, and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles.
